Background
As the SSBJ (Sustainability Standards Committee) disclosure standards are gradually becoming mandatory, companies are required to improve their emission amount calculations, ensure data quality, and obtain third-party assurance. However, many companies have hesitated to select assurance organizations due to concerns about response speed and cost burden compared to previous third-party assurance (such as audit firms), and many are proceeding with preparations without knowing how to prepare for the expanding scope of assurance, which now includes S1 qualitative information.
