Zeroboard launches cybersecurity survey items on its "Dataseed SAQ" platform for streamlining survey distribution and response.

Applications for the inclusion of these survey items are available starting today, March 18, 2026 (Wednesday).
Background of the new function
As cyberattack methods become more sophisticated and complex, there are limits to what a single company can do to defend itself, and security management that takes the entire supply chain into consideration is required. In the "Top 10 Information security Threats 2025" by the IPA (Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan), attacks that exploit vulnerabilities in the supply chain were selected as the second-highest threat to organizations (*1), and in a survey by the same agency, approximately 70% of small and medium-sized enterprises responded that "their own cyber incidents have affected the businesses of their business partners" (*2). Cybersecurity is increasingly recognized as a risk management Issue that management must be involved in.
In light of these developments, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry plans to launch the "Security Measures Evaluation System for Strengthening Supply Chains (SCS Evaluation System)" at the end of fiscal year 2026 (*3). Under this system, evaluation will require not only that a company has its own security measures, but also that it understands and manages the security measures of its business partners.
In response to customer requests for a unified understanding of security alongside ESG and human rights in supplier management, we have added cybersecurity survey items to our "Dataseed SAQ" service.
