Zeroboard Strengthens Its AI Development Organization with the Appointments of Tran Quang as VP of AI & Data and Nobu Fujimori as VP of Product

Zeroboard Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Michitaka Tokeji; hereinafter “Zeroboard”), a company supporting corporate sustainability management, announces that Tran Quang, former Vice President of Data & GX at Vietnam’s leading IT company FPT Group, has joined Zeroboard in January 2026 as Vice President of AI & Data, leading the company’s AI and data initiatives.

Since its founding, Zeroboard has supported corporate decarbonization and sustainability management, with its core solution “Zeroboard” for calculating and visualizing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Over time, the company has expanded its product offerings beyond GHG accounting into broader ESG domains, providing end-to-end support for sustainability disclosure. Today, Zeroboard’s solutions are used by more than 15,000 companies worldwide.

Through close collaboration with its clients, Zeroboard has increasingly recognized that beyond regulatory compliance and disclosure itself, the quality of management decisions—what data is used, how decisions are made, and how actions are derived—has become a critical factor influencing corporate value and long-term growth.

At the same time, the volume and complexity of data continue to grow, making it increasingly difficult to organize, analyze, and translate data into actionable insights through human effort alone. Against this backdrop, AI technology has become an essential component for platforms that support management decision-making. Zeroboard does not aim to replace human judgment with AI, but rather to empower people by providing options and insights that enable better decisions.

Last year, Zeroboard introduced its new vision: “A Data Platformer Enabling Sustainable Management Decisions.” Guided by this vision, the company is advancing product development that goes beyond data collection and visualization, leveraging AI to connect management decision-making with execution.

The Appointment of Tran Quang and Future Development

Under this philosophy, Zeroboard is strengthening its organizational structure to evolve AI from functional enhancement into a core element supporting management decisions. As part of this effort, Tran Quang has joined the company, bringing deep expertise in data- and AI-driven product development and engineer development.

With extensive experience launching sustainability businesses and implementing AI in global environments, Tran Quang will lead the technical realization of Zeroboard’s vision of “AI that supports human judgment.”

He will also work closely with the Cross-Platform Division led by VPoP Nobuyoshi Fujimori, which oversees product management, project management, and UI/UX design. By integrating technical expertise with product philosophy and on-the-ground execution, Zeroboard aims to further accelerate value creation as a “Data Platformer for Sustainable Management Decisions.”

<Background>
Quang has spent over 15 years at FPT, progressing from Cloud Computing Consultant to Chief Technology Officer and Chief Digital Transformation Officer, where he led technology strategy and capability development across FPT Japan Holdings. As a Digital Transformation Expert, he delivered enterprise-scale paperless and DX initiatives for major Japanese corporations. In 2020, he founded Usee, a demand forecasting solution unit at FPT Consulting Japan, providing automated forecasting for FMCG enterprises. Since 2023, he has served as VP of Data & GX at FPT Information System, driving data-driven insights and decision support for clients across Hanoi and Tokyo. In October 2023, he co-founded VertZéro, a carbon accounting and data mining platform with a vision to become Southeast Asia's preeminent carbon emissions reporting solution. In January 2026, he joined Zeroboard as Vice President of AI & Data.
