Zeroboard starts offering the AIST-IDEA full package
Supporting the use of life cycle inventory databases by combining our solutions
Zeroboard Inc.(Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Michitaka Tokeiji Tokeshi; hereinafter referred to as "our company"), which supports corporate sustainability management, has begun offering a full package of the life cycle inventory database AIST-IDEA (hereinafter referred to as "IDEA") provided by AIST Solutions Company(Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Seiji Osaka; hereinafter referred to as "AIST Solutions"), a member of the AIST Group.
This allows us to provide comprehensive support, from implementing IDEA into the GHG emissions calculation / Visualization solution"Zeroboard" to practical use through consulting.
About AIST-IDEA
The "AIST-IDEA" logo is a registered trademark of the National Institute of Advanced Industry and Technology.AIST-IDEA (Inventory Database for Environmental Analysis) is the world's largest environmental inventory database, providing comprehensive, representative, complete, and transparent Emission intensity intensity data required by companies when conducting product LCA (※) (Life Cycle Assessment) and Scope 1 to 3 calculations.
It has a systematic data structure based on the Japan Standard Industry Classification and the Industrial Statistics Survey Classification, and is widely used to assess the environmental impact of products and Service throughout their life cycles.
Until now, we have provided our users with some of the IDEA items (approximately 400 items) that contribute to the refinement of Scope 3 calculations as standard features on "Zeroboard." We have now concluded a distributor agreement with AIST Solutions for the full IDEA package, establishing a system that allows users to utilize more comprehensive inventory data in addition to the previous limited provision.
