About the Nikkei NEXT Unicorn Survey
The Nikkei NEXT Unicorn Survey is a survey of promising Japanese startups conducted by the Nikkei Shimbun since 2017. It analyzes unicorn candidates, unlisted companies with a corporate value of over $1 billion (approximately 150 billion yen), from multiple angles, including corporate value, growth potential, technological capabilities, and Funding status, and visualizes a ranking of companies with promising futures.
