Zeroboard Thailand collaborates with Innopower to introduce a sustainability platform to Chulalongkorn University
Accelerating industry-academia collaboration to promote decarbonization and develop GX human resources
Zeroboard (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Zeroboard"), a subsidiary of Zeroboard Inc. Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Michitaka Tokeiji ; hereinafter "Zeroboard"), which supports corporate sustainability management, has collaborated with Innopower Co., Ltd. (Bangkok; CEO: Athip Tantivorawong; hereinafter "Innopower"), a major Thai power group, and Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Engineering, to introduce a sustainability platform to the university.
This implementation marks the implementation of an advanced decarbonization management system at the university, Thailand's top educational institution, and is an initiative that will also lead to strengthening industry-academia collaboration in GX human resource development.
We have collaborated with Innopower and the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University to launch a project to help calculate and manage greenhouse gas (GHG) emission amount and develop a decarbonization roadmap.
The university has introduced Innopower's sustainability platform (a white-label product of "Zeroboard") for a fee and is currently calculating Scope 1 to 3 GHG emission amount and formulating a reduction strategy. This will establish the university as a leading model university in Thailand that practices decarbonization through Education, research, and operations.
This latest implementation, in collaboration with Innopower, marks a new form of sustainability practice at universities as Education and research institutions.
Furthermore, this initiative is expected to contribute to building a foundation for GX human resource development in Thailand. We will contribute to the development of next-generation sustainability human resources by sharing practical emission amount calculation and reduction know-how and jointly developing Education programs in Chulalongkorn University's Education curriculum and research activity .
Through our collaboration with Innopower, we will continue to expand our efforts to realize a sustainable society by promoting decarbonization in Southeast Asia and supporting GX human resource development.
