News regarding the acquisition of Added's logistics GHG emission amount calculation business

Combining the expertise of both companies to accelerate decarbonization efforts in the logistics sector

Zeroboard Inc., (Minato-ku, Tokyo ; CEO: Michitaka Tokeiji; hereinafter referred to as "our company"), which supports corporate sustainability management, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a business transfer agreement with Added inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO : Koichi Kamigaki; hereinafter referred to as "Added") regarding the logistics-related GHG (greenhouse gas) emission amount calculation business operated by the company, and that the transfer was completed on November 1 , 2025.
We will integrate Added's logistics GHG emission amount calculation business into the "Zeroboard"Service group, strengthening our ability to refine calculations and support reduction of logistics-related GHG emission amount.

background purpose

For shippers, logistics-related GHG emission amount(Scope 3 Categories 4 and 9: upstream and downstream transportation and delivery) tend to account for a large proportion of indirect emissions in the supply chain. However, Issue is a lack of progress in obtaining data from contractors, making it difficult to ensure the accuracy of calculations.
At the same time, the logistics industry is facing rising fuel costs, labor shortages, and growing demands from customers and business partners for environmental information disclosure. This has made it urgent for the industry as a whole to work together to create a system that will "transform environmental response into a competitive advantage for management."

Against this backdrop, Added has expanded its business as a leading company in the field of visualizing and optimizing corporate transportation emission amount through its SaaS "CAMOTSU," which automatically collects, calculates, and analyzes logistics data.

In addition to acquiring Added's intellectual property and software related to logistics calculations, our company will also take over Added's existing customer contracts and members. Going forward, we will integrate Added's business with our existing business and provide a one-package Service to shippers, thereby efficiently carrying out precise calculations for Scope 3 Categories 4 and 9, and establishing a system to provide integrated support for complying with laws and regulations, such as the revised Logistics Efficiency Act that came into effect in May this year and the SSBJ Disclosure Standards that will be gradually applied from March 2027, as well as implementing decarbonization measures.

Additionally, by working with major logistics companies to build a platform that efficiently calculates emission amount across the logistics industry, we aim to create a system that allows small and medium-sized logistics companies to share the data necessary for GHG calculations with the companies that commission them, without burdening them.
