Participating in the game-like litter picking Events "Seisochu" with Nagase & Co., Ltd.
Beach cleanup while engaging in team building
On Saturday, September 27 , 2025, Zeroboard Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "our company") volunteered to participate in the game-style garbage collection Events "Seisochu" hosted by Nagase & Co., Ltd., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hiroyuki Ueshima; hereinafter referred to as "Nagase & Co., Ltd. ") at Makuhari Beach (Mihama-ku, Chiba City).
Nagase & Co., Ltd. , a specialized chemical Trading company , is a user of " Zeroboard" and is also a prime partner with whom we have formed a business partnership to provide solutions, as well as a shareholder of our company.
Approximately 50 people from Nagase & Co., Ltd. and our company participated on the day with the cooperation of Gab Co., Company *, which operates the "Seisochu" project. Participants were divided into 9 mixed teams, and while picking up trash, they also took on missions sent to their smartphones.
Members of Nagase & Co., Ltd., which handles plastic products, explained the materials and uses of the trash they found, making it a very educational experience.
After about an hour of activity, the rankings were determined by weighing the trash, measured in Gommy.
1 plastic bottle: 300 Gommy
1 bottle/can: 200 Gommy
1 cigarette (1g): 10 Gommy
1g of other garbage: 1Gommy
The total amount of garbage collected was 60.942 kg, with the following breakdown:
Plastic bottles: 446
Bottles and cans: 119
other waste: 60.942 kg
Even on beaches that look beautiful, I noticed that there was a surprising amount of trash when I walked carefully. Some of it had washed up, but there was also a lot of trash, such as packaging from sweets and rice balls, plastic bottles and cans, fireworks and cigarettes, and much of it could be reduced if each of us was more considerate, which made me realize once again how important it is.
Even though we are involved in sustainability-related projects, experiencing the beauty of nature firsthand raised our awareness of protecting the Earth. It was also a valuable opportunity to engage in team building through cleanup activity with colleagues who share the same goal.
