Zeroboard presents private sector case study on visualization of GHG emission amount at AZEC intergovernmental dialogue

Introducing examples of Industry support in Thailand to environmental and Energy policymakers in Asian countries

Zeroboard Inc., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO : Michitaka Tokeiji; hereinafter referred to as "our company"), which supports corporate sustainability management, presented a case study on visualization of GHG (greenhouse gas ) emission amount at the " 19 International Conference on Carbon Market Development in the May Zero Emission Community (AZEC)" (AZEC-DCM* International Conference), held Case Studies on Monday, May 19, 2025.

This meeting was held under the initiative of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Industry of Japan and relevant ministries and agencies of each country. Participants were mainly government officials (in the fields of environment and Energy) from AZEC member countries, and exchanged views on the visualization of GHG emission amount and the establishment of a high-quality carbon market, as specific cooperation measures based on the AZEC Action Plan for the next 10 years.

In the session on "Utilization of GHG emission amount Data in Industry," we introduced the importance of visualizing GHG emission amount in the ASEAN region, the Issue and background facing the region, and the solutions that Zeroboard can provide. We also shared the expectations that user companies have for Zeroboard's solutions and the specific effects that can be obtained by introducing them. In other sessions, lively discussions were held on the need for capacity building, including human resource development for GX (Green Transformation), in promoting the calculation and disclosure of GHG emission amount, as well as the importance of public-private collaboration among AZEC member countries to achieve this.

This initiative aims to raise the level of decarbonization management and strengthen the competitiveness of the supply chain in the ASEAN region, and government officials have expressed interest in expanding the initiative to other countries. Going forward, we will continue to strengthen our collaboration with the governments and Industry of each AZEC country and contribute to the realization of decarbonization throughout the ASEAN region.
