SBS Holdings introduces " Zeroboard " , a GHG emissions calculation / Visualization solution
Zeroboard Inc.(Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Michitaka Tokeiji ; hereinafter referred to as "our company"), which supports corporate sustainability management, is pleased to News that SBS Holdings Company(Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masahiko Kamata; hereinafter referred to as "SBSHD") has introduced its GHG emissions calculation / Visualization solution,"Zeroboard ."
With this latest implementation, we worked with our business partner, Added Company, to resolve SBSHD's Issue, and by combining the cloud Service of the two companies, which have different roles, we were able to support the comprehensive calculation of GHG emission amount required by logistics companies.
"Zeroboard" allows companies to calculate the supply chain emission amount required by the company, while "CAMOTSU" provided by Added allows companies to calculate and share data on transportation emission amount that they are required to report as a transportation Service provider.
Background and purpose of introduction
SBSHD has positioned "strengthening sustainability management foundations" as one of its important management strategies, and is working to reduce the environmental impact of all business activity and contribute to environmental conservation. In order to achieve this goal, SBSHD has introduced " Zeroboard " provided by Zeroboard to accurately and efficiently calculate GHG emission amount from its business activity , and "CAMOTSU (※)" provided by Added to calculate and link data on transportation emission amount , which the company must report to shippers as a transportation Service provider.
In preparation for the upcoming enforcement of the revised Logistics Efficiency Act, Added has decided to provide comprehensive support, with the company looking forward to using its patent-backed cloud and specialized knowledge to help improve the efficiency of the collection, calculation, and visualization of data related to transportation between companies.
