Zeroboard launches production version of greenhouse gas emission amount calculation and visualization cloud Service"zeroboard"

Zeroboard Inc., Ltd. Background of development and process leading up to release of product version

As the global trend toward decarbonization progresses, financial markets and business partners are calling on companies to understand and reduce GHG emission amount associated with their business activity , and many companies are facing Issue in responding to these demands. We developed " zeroboard " with the aim of calculating and visualizing not only emission amount based on a company's own Energy use, which falls under Scope 1 1 and 2, but also supply chain emission amount , which falls under Scope 3 .
To date, the free trial version has been introduced to over 100 companies, primarily listed companies, and by incorporating their feedback into the features, we have now released the product version.

By receiving objective assurance for "zeroboard" in accordance with international standards, we will contribute to providing even more reliable Service and improving the efficiency of GHG emission amount calculation and disclosure. Furthermore, this is the first time in Japan that a cloud Service that calculates and visualizes GHG emission amount within the scope of Scope 1 1 to 3 has received assurance*4.

In partnerships with Energy Company, Trading company, and Financial Institution , we use " zeroboard " to simplify the calculation of GHG emission amount for our partners' client companies, and then work with them to propose optimal decarbonization consulting and solutions based on the results.
Furthermore, in calculating supply chain emission amount , which the company considers to be a top Issue , it is encouraging suppliers to use " zeroboard " as well, thereby promoting the use of primary data, that is, actual GHG emission amount figures for each product and Service . Buyers can not only import primary data into " zeroboard" and use it for Scope 3 calculations, but also import the data into their existing core systems, enabling them to check integrated indicators with financial data.
