- Business partnership agreement concluded with The Bank of Yokohama,Ltd. and ITOCHU ENEX CO., LTD.-

Zeroboard Inc.(Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Michitaka Tokeiji ; hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), which develops and provides the GHG (greenhouse gas) emission amount calculation and visualization cloud Service"zeroboard , " has entered into a business partnership agreement The Bank of Yokohama,Ltd.(Head office: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; CEO and President: Yasuyoshi Oya; hereinafter referred to as "Yokohama Bank") and ITOCHU ENEX CO., LTD., Ltd. The movement toward decarbonization is accelerating globally, and listed companies in particular are now being required to disclose climate-related financial information (GHG emission amount, typified by CO2, and reduction targets, etc.) alongside their financial statements. As a first step toward reducing GHG emissions, companies must calculate and visualize GHG emission amount across their entire supply chain (Scope 3), including their own activity(Scope 1 and 2), and many companies face Issue due to the complexity of data collection and calculation work.

In this demonstration experiment, with calculation support from ITOCHU ENEX CO., LTD., Mitsuba Company, Kudo Construction Co., Company, and Tokyo Cosmos Electric Company, Ltd., all business partners of the Bank of Yokohama, will trial the GHG emission amount calculation and visualization cloud Service"zeroboard," which we developed. The data obtained will be shared among the three companies - Bank of Yokohama, ITOCHU ENEX CO., LTD., and Zeroboard - and will be used to prepare GHG emission amount reports for Financial Institution and local governments, as well as to propose various GHG reduction solutions.

Based on the results of this demonstration experiment, we will consider providing new decarbonized management support solutions that combine the extensive network of Yokohama Bank, ITOCHU ENEX CO., LTD.'s Energy knowledge, and our cloud Service that enable calculation, visualization, and data sharing of GHG emission amount across the entire supply chain (Scope 3).

By popularizing "zeroboard," we aim to become an infrastructure company for GHG emission amount data, and by collaborating with companies in a variety of fields, we will build an ecosystem that accelerates decarbonization management at user companies and contribute to the decarbonization of Japan.
