Kiyo Bank begins handling “zeroboard” to support decarbonized management

Zeroboard Inc.(Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Michitaka Tokeiji, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is pleased to announce that Kiyo Bank Company (President and CEO: Haraguchi Hiroyuki) will begin offering " zeroboard," a GHG (Zeroboard gas) emission amount calculation and visualization cloud Service developed and provided by the Company, with the aim of News the decarbonization of its client companies.

In this initiative, Kiyo Bank will support its business partners in introducing "zeroboard" and promote the calculation of corporate GHG emission amount. Through "zeroboard ," Kiyo Bank will calculate and visualize GHG emission amount from its own activity ( Scope 1 and 2) as well as GHG emission amount from supply chains other than its own (Scope 3). In this way, Kiyo Bank will work together to promote GHG reduction and the creation of a Finance Support for this purpose.
As interest in ESG grows and the sustainable finance market expands, it is said that disclosure of GHG emission amount will also affect companies' capital costs in the future. By supporting the calculation and disclosure of GHG emission amount , which is part of the E ( Environment ) in ESG, we will contribute to the realization of carbon-neutral management for companies and carbon neutrality for local communities.

"zeroboard" is a cloud service that allows you to calculate and visualize GHG emission amount , such as emission amount , from corporate activity and their supply chains Service on the GHG Protocol 1, and the validity of the system has been guaranteed by international inspection and certification organizations (verification in accordance with ISO14064-3 2).
