Zeroboard Inc. Implements MBO for " zeroboard ," a cloud Service for calculating and visualizing CO2 emission amount

Zeroboard Inc.(Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Michitaka Tokeiji ; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has completed a management buyout (hereinafter referred to as "MBO") of the " zeroboard business," a cloud Service that calculates and visualizes CO2 ( Zeroboard dioxide) emission amount , and has begun operation of the business.

Zeroboard carried out an MBO on September 21, 2021, and began operations after acquiring the " zeroboard business" operated by ALI Technologies Company(headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO : Katano Daisuke).
Amid the global trend toward decarbonization, calculating and disclosing CO2 emission amount is becoming unavoidable, especially for listed companies. Many companies face Issue in calculating supply chain emission amount and the carbon footprint of each product, as these require the compilation of vast amounts of data both inside and outside the company. " zeroboard" is a cloud service that makes it easy to calculate CO2 emission amount in the supply chain by collecting data from various internal business tools and API integration with suppliers, and enables reduction management and output in various reporting formats. It is offered as a Service ( monthly fee system) that companies can use themselves, without the need to hire a consulting firm or incur expensive implementation costs.
Through this MBO, we will establish a system for faster business management as a B2B SaaS company and respond to the rapidly growing needs of companies in the area of decarbonization.

This is a cloud Service that calculates the amount of CO2 emitted by corporate activity and visualizes Scope 1 to 3 (*2) of the GHG Protocol (*1), an international standard.
