The official name is Products Environmental Footprint.

One of the environmental footprints developed by the EU. It stands for "Product Environmental Footprint" and is a framework for evaluating the environmental impact of products and Service. The Product Environmental Footprint Category Regulation (PEFCR) was Create as a unique rule to distinguish it from other similar rules regarding the product life cycle.

"Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials"

Established in the Netherlands in 2015, it is an international initiative that will be rolled out in North America in 2018 and worldwide in 2019. Its main purpose is to calculate and disclose greenhouse gas emissions generated by Financial Institution through investments and loans. It is the first industry-led initiative specifically for Financial Institution.

Although Financial Institution themselves do not directly emit carbon dioxide, the introduction of the GHG Protocol established the concept of emission ranges, Scope 1 1 to 3, and it became necessary for Financial Institution to calculate the greenhouse gas emission amount of projects in which they invest.

Guidance for calculating and exchanging product-level carbon emission amount data across the entire value chain was announced by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in conjunction with COP26 in 2021. The goal is for all companies to be able to use this guidance to calculate GHG emission amount(Products Carbon Footprint: PCF) consistently across the value chain. The "Pathfinder Network" is an initiative to create an "Internet of emission amount Data" that allows all organizations to connect and exchange emission amount data and knowledge.

Perfluorocarbon gas. It is a greenhouse gas and is said to have a warming effect 100 to 1,000 times, or even 10,000 times, that of CO2. Its atmospheric lifetime is as long as 10,000 years. It is primarily used as a coolant, insulator, and in semiconductor Manufacturing. It was added as a greenhouse gas in the Third Framework Convention on Climate Change.
